The cinema producer Jerry Bruckheimer, famous by blockbusters like the saga of “Transformers” and one more a twenty, confirmed the paper that Penélope Cross will have in the quarter films of the taquillera series of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. The Spanish will interpret the daughter of the pirate Barbanegra, the villain of the film.
During its stay in the convention of ShoWest in Fertile valleys, Bruckheimer commented the reporters who EP “will put much humor to him to the film” and that will be the romantic interest of Jack Sparrow, the personage of Johnny Depp.
The title of this quarter will be “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and will be directed now by Rob Marshall, who is been in charge of the musical comedies “Chicago” and “Nine”. If you remember, it directed to Cross in this last film, by which it received another nomination to the Oscar.
This new adventure will begin where the last chapter finishes: with Jack Sparrow going in search of the mythical source of youth. Although still neither they have date to initiate the running, or have the date opening attempt: 20 of May of 2011.
The paper of the Barbanegra villain will be interpreted by Ian McShane, that outside remembered by the program with dyes western “Deadwood”. Geoffrey Rush also will return to repeat its paper of Captain Barbossa.
Nevertheless, nor Orlando Bloom or Keira Knightley will be of return to repeat its papers of Will and Elizabeth Turner, like in the original trilogy. By this same one, Penélope comes to give a new fresh air to this saga of pirates.
Cruz and Depp already had worked together, in the tape on drugs “Blow”.
